Soulico‘s latest album, Exotic on the Speaker is available for purchase starting today. It features collaborations with some amazing Israeli and international artists like Ghostface Killah, Lyrics Born, Onili, Rebel Sun (from Coolooloosh) and more. This isn’t me doing JDub Records a favor. Sure they advertise on Jewlicious every once in a while. I’m also not posting this just because Soulico performed at the Jewlicious Festival a few years back. No. I’m posting this because ever since JDub sent me the mp3s of this album, I can’t stop listening to it. Soulico objectively kicks ass-they have outdone themselves. But don’t take my word for it. Support these deserving Israeli artists and buy Exotic on the Speaker. Then you can tell me I’m full of shit. Go ahead. I’m not going anywhere.

Bought the album at your suggestion. Fantastic. Really enjoying it. To emphasize the point, however, my five-year old son comes in and says, “Hey, what song is that? That’s good!” The kids are alright, indeed.
Oh fuck that noise. JDub and Soulico are in the business of making music. JDub advertises on Jewlicious and Soulico performed at the Jewlicious Festival thanks to the sponsorship of the Israeli consulate. Does that mean JDub and Soulico supported every political position we have ever advocated on Jewlicious? Other sponsors of the conference include MASA and the DC JCC. Nefarious! No seriously, I knew about the involvement but I have no indication that JDub and Soulico are about anything other than music.
What no mention CK of Jdub and Soulico supporting J-Street?
That’s right J-Street- the group that has been panned as the worst thing to hit DC since Jimmy Carter – has Soulico and Jdub booked for their “Rock the Status Quo conference.”
