Gary, it’s called “mutually asreusd destruction.” It worked well keeping the Soviets at bay for several decades. What I propose to do is for our leaders to tell the Arabic world that we will never accept their conquest of Israel and we will oppose it militarily, with destruction of Islam’s holy sites as our ultimate response. The problems in the Middle East are fed by our tepid, indecisive responses to Muslim hatred and territorial demands; like a spoiled child they need to be told NO once and for all.
